The Assessor can be a dental practitioner who needs to have certain skills, attitudes and aptitudes to be developed—to spot deviation from norms, ethical issues, and behavior trends, to guide towards better practices and imbibe enthusiasm to achieve the same. Good communication skills, assessment and analytical skills and objectivity are the key requirements of an assessor.
The NDAP assessor training course costs about Rs. 7000 and can be payable by cheque, DD, credit cards, debit cards, RuPay cards etc.
Once an assessor has been certified they can be contacted by the NDAP as well as the OHCP for assessment and guidance. The assessor can be retained contractually by the OHCP after the first accreditation for further association. The assessor is also responsible to conduct training programs for new participants willing to be assessors in future. Thus the assessor can avail income from the NDAP and later from the OHCP.
Assessor is an individual who can have observers or trainees as part of their team depending on the size and requirement of the OHCP to be assessed.
